Clear blocks and heal yourself with the Gan Putee Kriya meditation. This 11 minute Kundalini meditation will help you strip away self doubt and remove negativity from your life so you can create a more positive tomorrow. For this practice we will be using the chant Sa Ta Na Ma Ra Ma Da Sa Sa Say So Hung mantra while moving the hands through a mudra. Below, I have written out the instructions to support you in this practice.
Posture: Sit like a yogi in easy pose with a straight spine. The backs of your hands are resting on your knees with the palms upward.
Eyes: The eyes are nine-tenths closed.
Mantra: Chant Sa Ta Na Ma Ra Ma Da Sa Sa Say So Hung from your heart in a natural, relaxed manner, chanting in a steady relaxed monotone. This is how you combine the mantra and mudra (hand movement):
SA – your thumb and pointer finger touch
TA – your thumb and middle finger touch
NA – your thumb and ring finger touch
MA – your thumb and pinky finger touch
RA – your thumb and pointer finger touch
MA – your thumb and middle finger touch
DA – your thumb and ring finger touch
SA – your thumb and pinky finger touch
SA – your thumb and pointer finger touch
SAY – your thumb and middle finger touch
SO – your thumb and ring finger touch
HUNG – your thumb and pinky finger touch
Time: Start with 11 minutes (you can work up to 31 minutes, if you’d like).
Next: Inhale and hold the breath for 20-30 seconds while you move every part of your body. Exhale. Repeat this sequence two more times to circulate the prana (life force energy) to every part of the body. This is for self-healing.
To finish: Sit in absolute calmness and concentrate on the tip of your nose. Continue for 1 minute.
